Question about 7-on-7 drills
 
Who are the 4 players missing on each side of the ball during these drills? Lineman? Maybe this is a dumb question but I really don't have any idea.

Yes. 7 on 7 is for "skilled" players only. So no OL or DL. Ironically, it's not really 7 on 7, but that's what it's called.

4 DL
4 OL: tackles and guards. The center is just there to snap, so it's more like 6 on 7.
