Getting Bush is more important to them than preventing another 9/11, it will hurt them badly come November. HATE, it is destroying them. |

I couldn't stand Jimmy Sissy Carter, I supported him also when he was trying to free the hostages I knew he would f-ck it up but I supported him. They were my Presidents (I'm from the old school) if the New Democrats regain power and control the country for a long period of time America as we know it will fall apart, our enemy's know this, they will attack us when they can and they will wait, they know the Liberal Democrat will Cave In. |
Hard core far leftists are like the Sith. Their hatred is so overpowering they cant stop it and it is destroying them from within.

What's funny to me is that you guys do appear to believe this sort of thing.
Liberals want America to act like America, not like Al Qaeda Junior. That's your real beef with them. And frankly, when I read the commentary and responses here (as elsewhere), the hate all seems to be flowing from the right wing zealots. Harry's recent slur against "those Jewish lawyers in the ACLU" is just the most recent ugly showing of this. Coulter is against the first amendment, and advocates murder of her perceived enemies. When it comes to solutions, well-thought out strategies or the use of diplomacy rather than force immediately trigger a cry of "wimp! wimp!" from the right wing. This recent notion that the left is reacting to "hate" is a really interesting phenomenon, if a ridiculous one. It's like "putting aside for a moment everything the administration does wrong, why would the Liberals want to ever differ with the administration? Oh I know, it's a personal vendetta!!!" Okay, guys, moment over. Now think about everything the administration does wrong, and you'll understand why the majority of Americans voted against Bush in the first place -- his numbers just get worse as he puts his rhetoric into action. This does not bode well for November, gentlemen. But it is good that Republicans are sputtering these accusations of "hate" so frequently. I think this time 'round, they've become so transparent that they've pretty much strung themselves up. Metaphorically speaking, of course. PFnV |
OP-ED PIECE I SAW FROM SOME POLITICAL SITE. So, it is biased surely but I felt it served a purpose of opening discussion on the role of the media during this war on terrorism....a fine and difficult balance IMO.
Again..this is a politicaly biased opinion...not mine. :D http://www.opinioneditorials.com/fre..._20060624.html Quote:

I remember Kondrake from the McLaughlin Group, and also briefly met him and worked with him (in my very humble capacity) in the late 80s. I wouldn't characterize him as "liberal," but if "everything except a neocon" is synonymous with "liberal," feel free to put it that way.
For the record, however, he's always written from a centrist position. Interesting characterization. PFnV |
