Palin Again, Going After The Messiah

I hope this don't get me banned, I don't mean anything bad by mentioning the word "Palin"

Mrs. "Drill baby drill!" is accusing the other guy of being in bed with big oil? Well, she's certainly not afraid to make an 4ss of herself, is she?

Yes, lets make this about Palin. Why even discuss if Obama's admin should take over the spill. Palin is Palin, we get that the left hates her.

The question is: Should the fed take over the spill. I feel they should, BP has had more then enough time to get things sorted and failed. This should not be a political issue, it needs to be taken care of.

Even a broken watch is right twice a day. I agree that Obama has been negligent on "The Spill" and he can't make any excuses on it. This response has been negligent and naive and that's not what Obama voters were paying for. This guy has asked this country to swallow some huge piles of crap to save the corporations but he has never asked us to get behind ANY energy policy whatsoever and continues to suck up to the oil companies even as they destroy the Gulf Coast and who knows what next. He's done little to nothing about getting the message out on financial reform, which can't work anyways because campaign finance is getting worse every month, it seems.

It's time for Obama supporters to wake the fu(k up and start making demands on his admin to face the multinationals and Wall Street and start throwing some peoiple in prison for this (and other) crap!

Honestly, it's not even about blame right now. It's about getting the leak stopped. There will be plenty of time for blame later. They need to step in and do whatever it takes to get this under control.

We all know it's only a question of when the feds step in, not if. The longer they wait, the worse the fall out is going to be.

I agree that .gov should be aggressive in the cleanup although letting BP hang itself has been fun to watch in a sadistic kind of way. But Palin is absolutely a hypocrite and this is an obvious case of political posturing that pretends that her entire political ethos never happened. Does she really think people are as stupid as she is? Really? (Maybe she's right, judging by PF.)

Agreed. But it would be useful to know why they haven't. There are dozens of other rigs out there that are at least as vulnerable to similar failure. I actually heard some nitwit on TV this weekend say that because this has happened that the likelihood of a recurrence is even less likely to repeat because of the law of averages. I'm concerned that there are morons in the administration who are equally as stupid as that guy was.

I get no pleasure watching this disaster unfold. Lives are being ruined and untold damage is being done. It makes me nautious every time I see the oil spewing out...and still noting is being done to contain this mess.

The problem I have is I don't trust BP to do the right thing. It seems to me that they are avoiding permanatly closeing the well so they can use it in the future. Even if that's not true and they are doing every thing possible it seems to me that there would be more options if the fed was involved.

Call me crazy, but isn't this why we have the Federal Govenment in the first place.

Job # one of the Fed, protect the citizins. EVERYTHING else is secondary.
