R.I.P. _ Ronnie James Dio

Legendary metal rocker Ronnie James Dio dead at 67

I'm wearing black today. He will be missed, but will live forever.

There's a short thread in the Pub.

I feel for you, man, even though Dio and the Patriots are the only things we see eye to eye on :)

I dont visit "The Pub"... Plus Dio didn't drink. This is where my peeps are, even the ones like you who I disagree with.

Ronnie is in the afterlife giving the "Horns" to us all. Think of him when you see a rainbow inthe dark.

Yeah, I saw him 3 times, twice opening for the Mighty Maiden and once solo. As you know, he was even better on stage than on CD. He is my second favorite singer, second to Bruce.

I'll be seeing Dream Theater open for Maiden in about a month, after Portnoy tweeted this :

"Looks like Dime, Randy, Cliff and Bonzo just scored the ultimate singer....this is one of the saddest days in metal ever.... :("

I am hoping DT plays "The Spirit Carries On" in his honor at the show.

I was wondering when you'd pop up about this Diver. I started that thread in the pub, but I forgot that you're a one forum kinda guy.

RIP Dio, what a great metal artist. And by all accounts, a great guy as well. Every interview I ever heard, he was just a real nice guy who loved to rock. True shame.

Everyone crank some Dio today in tribute!
