Though I disagree with this bill as it's written (reportedly closely aligns with federal law anyway) it's really a damned-if-you-do etc situation.

Here's what I don't like about that bill: just as the quote indicates this whole thing will be done with political correctness and fairness and the only way to be fair and politically correct about it will be to detain legal citizens like trophy catches. Illegal aliens will suddenly morph; see the sudden appearance of Jihad Jane.

Martial law's coming to AZ- disarming its citizens, all in the name of crime prevention. This is a *****storm. DHS's janet Napolitano wants to deploy drones to the TX border.

The inmates are running the asylum, and they have plenty of allies on the left who are just helping them make it happen. 500 years from now, when historians analyze what went so wrong that sent the U.S. into a spiral from which we couldn't recover, this will be near the top of a very short list.

It is interesting that the left is blamed for this situation, all the while the last president who declared amnesty was the deified, petrified.. Ronald Reagan.

The bottom line here is that no one wants to adopt a policy, as whoever does will piss off a specific constituency.. the same principal for Cuba et al.
