Guess the Derrick Burgess era is over...
was hoping he would come back and see what he could do in a full offseason, but with Warren signed, that throws it out the books...

How do you figure? Warren is a 3-4 DE for the Pats.. Burgess is a pass-rushing nickle specialist? |

Burgess is a nickel/dime DE passrusher.... he 260 lbs Warren is a 3-4 DE, way over 300 lbs. If he makes the team, he'll play 1st and 2nd down, and if he plays on 3rd down, move to DT just like Seymour did. |

Should have been signed by now... Lewis and Warren signing, could .. And I say COULD... Signal the end of the short lived Burgess era... |
Re: Guess the Derrick Burgess era is over...
Even assuming Warren makes the final roster, depth at DE/OLB is still a need. I don't think you can say it is over yet.

Oh, sorry. He's a FA, but he could still sign. [Not as a 3-4 lineman was my point.....] |
