I think this was big win for HBO. I don't know if it is going to be a good thing for the Jets themselves. Going to the Jets boards, they have already forgotten how people thought the Jets players were too full of themselves midway through the season and seemed to like to talk a tougher game than they played. More exposure could really make this an issue.
Granted Hollywood Rhodes is gone. He and Bart Scott were the two biggest media hogs on the team. |

This will definitely be fun to watch.
The Jets could really be asking for trouble by putting a camera in front of those big mouths all summer and not expecting it to distract their camp or at least give bullitin board material to half the league. |

Teams featured on Hard Knocks were 47-38-1 (4-2 in playoffs with 1 title) the year before.
Almost all of them had a hint of "train wreck" from a chemistry perspective going into their training camp. Those teams were 39-44 (1-2 in the playoffs) the season when Hard Knocks was filmed. Only one of them (2009 Bengals) improved their record...and even they were exposed as frauds late in the season. No thanks. |

In 2007, BB paid $500,000 for spying on the Jets. In 2010, he can do it by getting HBO for a month.
