Which team got a better deal? 3rd for Boldin or 3rd for Burgess? Actually it was a 3rd and 5th for Burgess, I believe.

Your a jets fan in disguise. Get off the forum. One of the posters exposed you by showing you ballwash the jets during the AFCCG and calling Mark Sanchez "heroic".

Big difference. Boldin wanted a new contract for a start. And Burgess, who looked good down the stretch, might well be back.

I don't remember ballwashing anyone let alone the jets. I was rooting for them in the CG, as I don't like the colts. That makes me a jets "fan"? LOL.

He was heroic compared to the dog crap people on here said he was.

I won't get off the forum, you get off. I'm trying to help the team through cold hearted logic, you are just being a "fan".:rocker:

You need to apply for an actual position with the organisation.

I'd hate to think you were spending your time 'helping the team' on a message board when you could have much better access to Belichick himself by being part of the coaching team.

You should expect some resistance to your righteous 'cold hearted logic', though.

Belichick has something of a reputation as an overly emotional softie in league circles.

What does it matter? The Pats couldn't get Boldin because Boldin wasn't interested in being an one year rental. He could have made the trade not go through since he knew the Ravens were willing to give him an extension and the Pats weren't. Two very different situations.

People need to stop these ridiculous comparisons. If the issues wasn't the extension, Boldin might be a Patriot right now. The Pats were not going to trade for a guy who might nor report because he didn't get a new deal.

Huh? Did you miss the bit where the Ravens signed him to a 4 year $28M contract?

Burgess will want a new contract, but it won't be anywhere near what Boldin wants.
