That sounds like good news to me. Hopefully he and WWII can get in sync with Brady over the off season and make some positive on field contributions next year.

great news. He will at the very least be an upgrade on ST. Get well Brandon. And get well soon

For anyone who hasn't clicked on that, there's also a good video I posted of Tate from the report that ran right after he suffered his knee injury in college. Amazing how much he meant to the University - they were pretty upset he got hurt.

Right now, Tate is just another one of those guys on NEs roster who every off season is expected to come off IR and be the answer: Wheatley, McKenzie, Tate, ...

I still hope NE plans to be ultra aggressive in acquiring draft pick/FA options at WR and KR.

This is good news. Tate did show some good ability for the very short time that he played last year. This may make drafting a WR less important but we still should grab one in the 2nd if there is one that is good enough.

So far, this does not look like a great WR class. It seems to be a much better TE class.

Still it is tough to depend on him to be ready to make an immediate impact next season. We need to aquire another WR that we can depend on to make an immediate impact, most likely through FA.

So, as some of us here speculated, he did NOT tear his ACL a second time. That's very good news.

Yeah he was a hell of a player for them, probably their most explosive player.
