Does anyonr remember what happened in FA last year on day one??
Last year...similar but a bit less hectic...many were signed quickly..big bucks tossed around...and a few days later, there werecomplaints about how the Patriots didn't sign anyone and...yadda-yadda-yadda.. Same here..and makes snese..the NE team doesn't go for the spotlight glamour players.. and yet last year, the team made a run for WR Derrick Mason. THAT was a large surprise for Day one.. Will there be some surprise later today or tomorrow??

What was the timing of the Derrick Mason offer? Was it as early as the first week of FA? I don't remember it that way. Anyone know?
