The Haitian Children "Kidnapping"...
 
Been following this story all week, and intially it seemed quite perplexing as to why there would such a firestorm...however as the week progresses the facts become clearer.. most were not orphans..

“I warned her( the Dominican Counsel General), I said as soon as you get there without the proper documents, you are going to get into trouble, because they are going to accuse you, because you have the intent to pass the border without the proper papers and they are going to accuse you with kids trafficking,” Carlos Castillo said he told the group’s leader, Laura Silsby, during a meeting Friday.

Told earlier that many of the children had living parents, Silsby said, “I did not know that.” She added, “In our hearts, our intention was to help children that had been orphaned or abandoned by their parents.”

But the interpreters the group had used said the conversations between Silsby and the parents in the Haitian town of Calebasse made clear to them that Silsby must have been aware of the children’s status.

SOS Children’s Villages, an Austrian charity, said that it has determined that at least two-thirds of the children are not orphans.
The WSJ does not seem to be all that sympathetic..

More do-gooders thinking they can get away with anything they want like they do in the USA.
They are so used to "AMERICA'S FREEDOMS" that they can't understand that there are other country's out there that would never tolerate the ***** they get away with in America, these fools are lucky the Haitians didn't chop them up and use them for chicken food.

Um, Harry, I don't think anyone would try to get away with loading up a bunch of kids on a bus and transporting them out of the country in America. It's not a "freedom" here, either.

Yes your right, these people are dangerous, society never knows what their screwy little minds will dream up next, back in the 60's when the Civil Rights Movement was really starting to grow the black people in my neighborhood who had come north during the depression always said that one of their biggest fears was the
"Obsessed Do-Gooder".

Beware Of The Do-Gooder

Those fools down in Haiti will just keep praying and grinning nothing will change them if released they will just go somewhere else and find another cause to screw up some poor souls life, but this one backfired on them, the kids are lucky they didn't get their claws into them.

THe leader of the group appears to be a well intentioned wack job. You don't try to take a bunch of kids without making sure all rules are followed to ensure the kids will be safe.

WTF are people thinking? You can't just show up in a country, and abduct kids. Wel, maybe if you're name is Madonna you can, but everyone else needs to thrown in jail if they try to kidnap kids. I don't care what your intentions were, there is a right way to do things, and this way is not it! :mad:

This whole post-Haiti is reminding me of post-Katrina in New Orleans - a disaster, a circus, a mess, you name it. Thing are going from very, very bad to very, very worse.
