They have scrapped their planned show with guests from Ft. Myers and will be bringing in football guests all afternoon.

Ordway says he has it on good authority that the owners meeting only lasted 15 minutes before the vote to cut off negotiations. He says management will not blink, but he is hearing that as the cuts and consequences are becoming known the players are getting quite concerned and pressure is being levied on Upshaw. He also says Willie will be cut today whether or not an agreement is forthcoming. He says the news at 10PM tonight will not be a deal is reached, but might be that deadline is extended a week - and it will only be extended if Upshaw requests it and indicates he is ready to modify the union position.
