Holley: "Patriots aren't Merriman people..."

said it on EEI and surprised no one said it here. He said from the people that he knows in the stadium know for a fact they are not interested in POST caught Merriman.

Two completely different people.

Also said Belichick lost faith in Maroney in final 4 weeks.

not high on Merriman... rumors around San Diego that he was at a strip club two nights before the playoff game against the Jets and in Vegas the weekend before partying...

He needs to figure out if he wants to be a socialite or a football player

Good. As bad as we are at OLB, I'm still not sure that Merriman would be a major improvement. Definitely not worth the money.

A steroid using, woman-beater coming off the worst year in his career.

It's sad that's anyone type of person.

Sadly enough, I wouldn't even mind the former two at this point, if not for the latter one. That's how badly our OLBs need an upgrade... Merriman just isn't one.

Knowing most people's opinion of AD, I don't see how anyone around here would think it's a good idea to bring in Merriman.

If he came here and performed well, 95% of people would love him.

And yes, I know that you are all that 5% that still would despise him.

It's good that the Pats dont' sign Merriman, cause that would add another off field issue with the Pats-Jets rivalry due to the whole Tia Tequila angle.

you mean the first annual tila tequila bowl they just played between the jets and chargers. no sense signing merriman, he's a clown and a shell of his former steroid using self.
