At least we won't see the throwbacks for a while

Like the look of our red throwback jerseys, but they sure don't bring any good luck with them do they...

No but we will see the new alternate jerseys, :).

I personally love the throwbacks and I don't buy into the whole "jerseys affect a team's play" mentality. The Jets, Bills, Hawks and Broncos to name a few have changed and updated their uniforms plenty of times and their fortunes haven't changed for the better (in the Bills' case it's gotten worse). I know they represent an era when the Patriots weren't exactly a powerhouse but there's nothing wrong with remembering your history. I love the modern uniforms but I think the team should have something in place where we wear the throwbacks for a few games a season, like the Steelers, Broncos and Bills do.

Besides, this year the team played the greatest game in franchise history (statiscally speaking) in the throwbacks

The team just sucked this year, really had nothing to do with with uniform choice.

Wait, are the Pats getting new alternates next year.

Yeah, like many others have said already--I don't buy into the whole "bad luck throwback" theory.

Not only did we have one of our best games in franchise history this year, but we would've went 3-0 in the reds, had it not been for a 1 pt loss to Miami. The whites were worn in the FG loss in OT at Denver, so that's not really telling me that the team plays poorly in them either.

Like most issues, some feel one way, some feel another way. Personally, I wouldn't mind the team breaking them out once or twice a year, like someone else mentioned.

If anyone has any info on the status of new alternates, please post a link or picture--thnx.

I was under the impression the throwbacks are our new alternate jersey...

I thought the Pats only lost 1 game with the throwbacks this year?

The throwbacks look clunky and are bad mojo. Burn them.

Word.

Besides, what's with red anyway. The redcoats, the lobsterbacks, the bad guys wore red in the Revolution. Wearing red as patriots is ...well, unpatriotic.
