ESPN: Reese will NOT be Seahawks GM

Re: ESPN: Reese will NOT be Seahawks GM
I guess I'm happy about that. I don't mind change but this team needs to do too much in the personnel dept. Having experienced, quality people like Reese can only be a good thing.

Maybee that will put Floyd Reese as player personel director , and move Caserio to OC... I doubt it but who knows..

Re: ESPN: Reese will NOT be Seahawks GM
I'd like to keep Reese around in some capacity. I'm all for continuity in the personel dept right now. We had Scott for so long that I'm sure it was a tough transition last year. Would definitely rather not have any changes there again this year.

Re: ESPN: Reese will NOT be Seahawks GM
Does Reese poking that job with a stick cause any weirdness for him and the Pats this season?

Re: ESPN: Reese will NOT be Seahawks GM
I'd love to keep Reese, either in his current capacity or more involved with personnel selection. He had a fairly good track record at Tennessee. If Caserio moves to OC then I could see Reese taking on an expanded role, or bringing in someone like George Kokinis or Phil Savage and keeping Reese in his current role.

Re: ESPN: Reese will NOT be Seahawks GM
I think Reese is a good talent evaluator and I'm glad he's still here. He's probably also the only person at Patriot Place who can call the coach "Billy."
He had some great drafts with Tenn.--his only big mistake was Pacman, and I believe that utimately lead to his dismissal. |
Re: ESPN: Reese will NOT be Seahawks GM
The Patriots need Reese if they have intentions to re-sign any of their
free agents between now and March 5th. He is their chief negotiator. |
