Borges must have gone to church yesterday...
as he seems to have finally seen the light, try not to read this fool, but this mornings column deflates the argument by the pundits who will negate BB and his choices yesterday...
Of course he has to throw a few jabs at BB, but that is Borges being Borges... I suspect that when it is all said and done, and when documented that he is overplaying the Parcells stuff... who may have been a factor, but probably not the biggest factor.. Right way to play it - BostonHerald.com Quote:

Every now and again, Borges has to begrugdingly give BB and the Pats credit, it sticks in his craw, and he doesn't sleep well until he gets the next shoe to drop. Wonder if he ever liked a boxer for 2 fights in a row.

As usual, he's being contrite again...insulting Brady and putting blame on Welker especially how he ran the route. He will be using those two as his targets all winter, this is the first volley from him against them  |
Re: Borges must have gone to church yesterday....
It's pretty clear to me (from listening to the Brady interview on D&C yesterday) that the Pats really didn't care about winning the game. So the premise of Borges' article is wrong.
That being said, I have no problem with Welker being out there playing. Not even the Colts rested their starters for an entire game, and Welker was injured in the first quarter. |
