Veteran broadcaster Al Michaels bolts for NBC

NFL | NBC gives rights to ESPN for Michaels
Thu, 9 Feb 2006 11:38:16 -0800 Updating previous reports, ESPN.com reports NBC traded rights to Ryder Cup matches, Olympics highlights, historic cartoon character Oswald the Rabbit and more to ESPN to acquire the services of Al Michaels, who will be part of their Sunday night game broadcasts. Michaels will join John Madden and NBC will have Bob Costas and Chris Collinsworth as co-hosts of the network's studio show. |
IMHO, Sunday night will be much better. Monday night will be worse. And I will miss having Prime Time on Sunday evening before the game.

ya
Sunday night should be a good show. Monday on the other hand is looking like it will be a trainwreck!

I like Kornheiser's wit and humor an think he adds an element to the Monday game that will be welcomed. Tirico and Theisman on the other hand, are an obvious downgrade from the Michaels/Madden duo.
