Edelman able to do it when it matters?
I think the kid has looked respectable today. i'm trying to look at the glass half full with the welker situation. he is not as explosive after the catch, but still a b/b- off my half asleep eye-test (got 21 hrs under my belt this weekend with all the snow... you're all welcome...). At the same time I'm pretty sure i saw him mouth the words "I f'ed that up..." to a coach at the return of a commercial while next to hoyer. I'm sure his reads aren't on the same level but think he has a decent shot of playing the underneath game well enough to be affective with Moss over the top. I doubt he'll get the respect Welker has been getting which should help him. Curious to see what the rest of you think. hopin the last 10 go quickly with no injuries so I can catch up on some sleep :(

Re: Edelman able to do it when it matters?
He's far more than respectable. For a rookie he's been incredible, for a backup he's been real good. He's no Welker in respect to how well Brady and Welker know each other but Edelman absolutely can play and play well.

I like the guy a lot he has game, but it is a lot to ask from a rookie in the playoffs
