Best New Year's wishes from Bill Belichick

You know, any time when it's the... when there's only a few minutes left in a year, you know, you practice for those situations, you hope you can execute in those situations, and yesterday was one of those times. There was that midnight ball drop, that was a big turning point. Definitely. I think we executed pretty well, there are always things you'd want back, but that's any year. In this life the difference between losing and winning it's, it comes down to a few key decisions, a few big days, you know, those tell you who's going to win that year nine out of ten years, and I think we did pretty, you know, pretty well. We did some good things this year, and other things those are things we'll work on in 2010 going forward, all of us. We've got a new year to prepare for, and 2009, well that's something you guys can write about, we're preparing for 2010, trying to figure out what it does well, where 2010 can hopefully be taken advantage of, though that will probably be difficult. 2010's probably the best year we've gone up against this life, they've got... 2010's got some great weapons out there and we just hope to be competitive against this year.

It is what it is,

Bill

Back atcha Frank, and I consider us to need to take you & yours to dinner at your absolute favorite restaurant (still) if we get up there or you come down here. If you can't pick one we'll just go to the one in "Man vs. Food" with the 30 pound lobster or whatever it is.

Good writing there PF ...

I would have added "we'll try to be competitive in all 12 phases of the year."

Wouldn't it be 4 phases of the year. Winter, spring, summer, fall?

Come on Icy, nothing needs to be added. Others have tried and failed, Mangini could never pulled a new years wish like that:D
