I think he signs that contract with a sick stomach.

He did everything he could not to go to the Mets ... tried using them to raise his price. The fans were all over it ... feeling he did not want to go there at all. Now he goes there to save face or just to get rich. That club is a baseball graveyard and going nowhere. |
Re: Bay to the Mets
I'll bet he opened alot of players eyes with the way this
one played out. |
Re: Bay to the Mets
So, where do we go from here to replace his offensive production?

Sox will make a deal before the deadline ... when they see what they can get from Hermidia ... who knows ... they could get lucky.:cool::cool: |
Re: Bay to the Mets
in poker parlance, this team consistently continues to get "blinded out" by doing nothing before it's too late and all the opportunities are gone... which is one of the dumbest things you can do in poker.
nonetheless, the game is being ruined by a lack of a salary cap. I'm convinced there will be contraction within the next 5 years. |

Happy New Year Jason
... that extra $6 million they are paying you might pay for lunch in New York vs lunch in Boston. |
