OT: San Diego @ Tennessee
This is a good one tonight to open up Week 16. Two schools of thought from Patriots fans on this one:
(1) Root for Tennessee, and keep the slim chance for the two seed alive at all costs, or (2) Root for San Diego so that the Chargers lock up the two seed, and a Patriots win (or Dolphins loss) on Sunday gives you the chance to rest whomever you want in Week 17 at Houston. For the Pats to get the two, they must win out, have Cincinnati lose either vs. KC, or at NYJ, and SD must lose tonight and at home versus Washington. I can see Washington getting up for their SNF game this week at home against Dallas (before their monstrosity last Monday against the Giants, they had been playing rather well), but I can't imagine them putting in an A+ effort cross country in Week 17 (and hell, and A+ effort might not even be enough). As much as the 2 would be huge, I wouldn't hate a Chargers win tonight... |

Re: OT: San Diego @ Tennessee
So long as a bye is still an option you have to root against SD

I'll put my vote for the Titans, a chance at a bye is better than nothing. And let's be honest, I can't stand LT aftet his Pats "classless" comments a few years ago...

Re: OT: San Diego @ Tennessee
The Titans offense looks exactly like the Florida Gators offense, except in the NFL. Will be interesting if it will continue to work in the next few years.

I hate that rule. If your arm is over when it throws the ball, you should be over.
