Pats not going to Pro Bowl because...
.. all week I have been loking for a report that Seymour wasn't going to the Pro Bowl, since Brady backed out. I think the Pats players are making a statement that the way they played as a team, noone deserves to go the Pro Bowl. Any thoughts.
I think the reasons are three-fold:
1 - the way the season ended was a disappointment and going to the Probowl will feel anticlimactic;
2 - both have "been there, done that" before;
3 - they (the Pats in general)'ve already decided that resting up and getting as healthy as possible for two very important players is much more important than some meaningless game half a world away.
Can't wait for 2006 season to start! How many days?
Seymour's real reason is he doesn't want his wife buying a house there.:D
They aren't playing because they've been there before, but mainly because they're nicked up. I doubt it's any kind of symbolic gesture.
