Silver: Belichick’s clan replacing loyalty with ugliness

Re: Silver: Belichick’s clan replacing loyalty with ugliness
Is it just me or do others feel bewildered by the 'story' in this column??
come on Silver... you can certainly do a bit better than tying to tie random acts into an anti-Belichick story. |

Wow. Just wow. Silver not only think Belichick is an a-hole, but every person who has ever coached, played or worked for him is as well.

I got as far as Vrabes giving the Donks the finger and somehow it's BB's fault, and then gave up even trying to make sense of the rest. Silver, mediots, et al: I gave a Fish fan the finger last Sunday, and I just want it noted for the record that it was entirely of my own volition, and was not, directly or indirectly, suggested by nor in any other way influenced by BB's opinions, thoughts, attitude or actions, etc, etc. Thank you. |
Re: Silver: Belichick’s clan replacing loyalty with ugliness
So the writer uses something that happened in the Cheifs/Brocos game to slam Belichick. Man these idiots will do anything to slam BB, even if it isn't relevant. And they wonder why BB doesn't like to talk tp the press.

Re: Silver: Belichick’s clan replacing loyalty with ugliness
I just read the article on Yahoo and was absolutely stunned. So much so that I actually emailed Silver. I told him it was biased, likely due to a lack of access, that many of the situations and "facts" were completely distorted and that the whole piece was a vendetta disguised as a story.
I just find in incredible the lengths to which those in the media hate BB. Its just not rational. And I'm positive that it all comes back to a lack of access. All these idiots would be so happy if BB were like Herm Edwards etc. |
Re: Silver: Belichick’s clan replacing loyalty with ugliness
I didn't bother reading the article, but I'm shaking my head at the timing. Silver has a long history of writing negatively about Belichick, but this is the hottest topic he could come up with this week? The NFL has two undefeated teams, about half the league is battling for four wildcard playoff spots, Chris Johnson is having one of the best seasons for any running back in NFL history, etc. - but instead this is what he writes about? Lame.
I guess baiting football fans with anti-Pats, anti-BB columns still works to generate views and ratings, but it's still pretty sad that this is all a national columnist can come up with. |
