Just how bad was the defense?!? - Extra Points - Boston.com

Check out this stat that my colleague Adam Kilgore dug up: The 484 yards the Patriots defense gave up this week was the third worst performance statistically of the Belichick Era. The 2001 Colts and 2001 Rams are the only ones to cover more ground offensively on New England this decade.

Interesting how we won the Superbowl that year, and in the finale shut down the fastest team on turf....
