Damn, I Hate Conservatism
Fox’s Chris Wallace Conducts Sycophantic, Softball Interview With Rush Limbaugh
When the White House snubbed Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace of an interview with President Obama in September, Wallace defended his program by claiming it is a “truly fair and balanced show.” This morning, he had an opportunity to demonstrate his fairness, but failed miserably. During his 30-minute on-air interview with Rush Limbaugh, Wallace did not ask a single critical question of the hate radio host, nor did he ever seriously challenge Limbaugh’s views at any point in the interview. Wallace relished engaging in a hostile interview with President Clinton in 2006, arguing afterwards that, “My instinct is to go after them with the high hard one.” He showed none of those instincts this morning. Instead, Wallace teed up a series of softball questions, allowing Limbaugh to offer unchallenged accusations of Obama. Some examples: WALLACE: This week it will be one year since Barack Obama was elected president. In that time, what has he done for and to the country?(continued) |
Re: Damn, I Hate Conservatism
It seems like a fairly good interview if you read all the way through.

Would they prefer a softball, ball washing, fellating interview done by Chris Mathews or Larry King  |

Attack Democrats at every turn, ballwash Republicans at every turn.
As long as little sparky has 1/2 D's and 1/2 R's he's in perfect balance. |
Re: Damn, I Hate Conservatism
Here is a link to a video of the interview in 3 parts. He did ask Limbaugh about his oxy addiction. No need for 'hardball questions when the perosn being interviewed doesn't try to spin his opinions and gives them freely as Limbaugh does.
THE FREEDOM POST: FOX NEWS SUNDAY INTERVIEW WITH RUSH LIMBAUGH I noticed that Axelrod was calling Limbaugh an entertainer today in attacking what Limbaugh said, guess the Axe demoted Limbaugh from his position as the head of the party? The interview must have left a few marks given Axe's reaction. |
Re: Damn, I Hate Conservatism
Time and time again on this board, Rush has been labeled an entertainer, but now Fox takes its number one interviewer and softballs this interview, and turns it into a Obama bashing ... so is this an entertainer interview or a news interview???...:confused:
Do not worry, Rush just added a few more viewers.. ca ching, it is about the money. |
Re: Damn, I Hate Conservatism
Well Axelrod labeled him and entertainer, yet at the same time Obama has repeatedly referred to Rush and DeMaurice Smith and others made Limbaugh a political issue when his name was leaked as part of an ownership team. Fox has of course been put on Obama's enemies list also.

This is a very confusing sentence, and does not make any sense... to discuss the leader of your party by the usage of two proper nouns in the same sentence is very poor form. |
Re: Damn, I Hate Conservatism
The disconnect between the thread title and actual topic is pretty wide, doncha think?
Why did you not title it "Fox News anchor does a softball interview with talk show host"? That would be way more accurate and less misleading then yours. What the hell does this Chris Wallace's interview with Limbaugh have to do with you, or why you hate a particular political ideology???? ..................... I mean, other than to demonstrate your ability to take a seemingly unrelated topic, overly politicize it, and then come in here and make grandiose, soapbox pronouncements? I should have known not to watse my time opening it. We all should have. Way to go press, you got us all again. |
