How Come?

How come nobody is whailing about "Abramoff"? :singing:

They have in many of these threads, you are too busy making up polls and stories to notice.

We would love to comment further, but we can't as its an ongoing investigation.

I love it how the republicans are acting as if they are shocked by this whole thing though. Gingrich, that sleaze, cannot believe it! Wow! From the "moral highgrounders"???

K-street? Whats K-street??

Your right, nothing will come of it, the Democrats will probably want to drop it because a lot of their big guns are right in the middle of it.

I hope they stay on it and hang every one involved in it on both sides, but they won't.

The guy that might keep it going is Abramoff himself, he will be looking for deals to get his sentence reduced so he will "RAT On Everybody", he is a stool pidgeon.

Uncle Teddy has already started to circle the wagons, excuse after excuse. :singing:

Thats not what I have been reading and watching on the news. Tonight I watched Hardball with Chris Mathews interviewing Joe Scarborough. Joe was talking about the corruption regarding lobbyists when Joe was a rep. Relating then to now he used an example of Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert. This Speaker took money from Abramoff and the next week helped him pass a bill. Already, you have House Majority Leader Delay involved big time in this scandal, now you have the Speaker of the House. You want to wager that there are substantially more Republicans involved in this then Democrats? The timing of this also does not bear well for the Republicans as it will come up right before mid-term elections. You can be in denial all you want but you don't have to be a genius to figure how this will play out. The Republicans will lose enough seats in the house which will give the Democrats enough power to start looking into the Bush Administration. This is in addition to the Supreme Court reviewing the redistricting in Texas. Not to mention the Plame investigation which will be simmering approx. during this time frame. Throw in a whistle-blower who lost her job for reporting corruption in Iraq. And you say the Dems' are not getting involved? That has as much chance of happening as Dubya's face on Mount Rushmore.

Answer: U.S. Grant and Bill Buckner
Question: Name two individuals who have had large burdens lifted from their shoulders.

Hey listen your mind should be at ease, I mean according to NEM the democrats involvement was minimal so in 06 when the republicans all get voted out, the corruption will be gone, so put down the gun it will be ok.

Don't leave out Boob Ney. There's also that little thing in Saipan Abramoff and Delay have worked tirelessly on- you know the story about the forced abortions for sweatshop workers.

This is gonna sting. Delay is done. http://www.cnn.com/2005/POLITICS/05/09/real.delay/
