To those of you who fear that any sort of National Health Care Plan will end up being similar to that of Canada or England with a denial of life-saving care take heart:
World's Fattest Man Eats 20,000 Calories a Day - That's Fit Weighing 976 pounds, Mason is rarely able to leave his bed. He requires extensive care, including seven caregivers, which are paid for by Britain's National Health Service to the tune of an estimated $164,000 a year. So far the cost of keeping Mason alive has topped $1 million. It says nothing, however, of who pays for the 20,000 calories worth of food which he eats each day. |

This is the wrong way to console them.
From this article they'll start complaining of the 'rising costs' for all associated with unfairly paying for all the indigents and fat people. Their minds are made up, they have (crappy) counterarguments for both sides. |
