Try This On For Size

To those of you who fear that any sort of National Health Care Plan will end up being similar to that of Canada or England with a denial of life-saving care take heart:

World's Fattest Man Eats 20,000 Calories a Day - That's Fit

Weighing 976 pounds, Mason is rarely able to leave his bed. He requires extensive care, including seven caregivers, which are paid for by Britain's National Health Service to the tune of an estimated $164,000 a year. So far the cost of keeping Mason alive has topped $1 million.

It says nothing, however, of who pays for the 20,000 calories worth of food which he eats each day.

This is the wrong way to console them.
From this article they'll start complaining of the 'rising costs' for all associated with unfairly paying for all the indigents and fat people.

Their minds are made up, they have (crappy) counterarguments for both sides.

This is good, why?

It would be great if Mason were allowed the opportunity to crawl his fat @ss out of bed in an attempt to get to his Big mac. In the process of doing so suffering a massive coronary, thus allieviating the burden on taxpayers. Attrition like nutrition is good.
