Info on NFL fines

Anyone know when the NFL announces fines and how that info is disseminated each week?

I'm very curious to see what fine (if any) the Ten player received for that helmet to helmet flagrant hit on Brady.

Also curious about the pregame fighting between broncos and charges and if that amounted to anything.

I think the player receives the fine Thursday, and it's announced Friday.

Where does the fine money go? Is it donated to charity?

Re: Info on NFL fines

Fines usually come out Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on when the game was played.

However, there are some cases where the league acts quickly, such as in the case of Dante Wesley, who found out Monday he was fined and suspended for one game.

Others found out on Tuesday.

As for where the money goes, I'm not sure. I thought it went into a fund that paid out to former players, but I am not sure.

Yes, it goes to charity.

The NFL does not typically release information on fines. Media reports about fines come from players or players' agents.

It goes to the charity of the player's choice. Doesn't that mean it's tax deductible?
