Adalius Thomas discusses being deactivated
Patriots LB Adalius Thomas discusses his recent deactivatio - ESPN Boston
Sounds to me like a man who wants out...I wonder if he will put effort in for the rest of the season..I expect this to be his last here. Like other Ex-Ravens once they leave that system they suck. |

Gee, Ian already started a thread on the same topic...

Re: Adalius Thomas discusses being deactivated
The trade deadline has just passed. Oh well, I'm sure he can be pretty useful somehow for the rest of the year. Then just cut him next year.
Lesson learned for BB, I guess. |

He can move forward, backwards, side to side...whatever. The guy needs to produce or he will always be known as the biggest bust of Bioli era. Even Rosie Colvin turned it around after a major injury. Adalius is in the prime of his career. If he can't make it happen now, I can't imagine him having a place in the league with that salary. |
Re: Adalius Thomas discusses being deactivated
"Ask Bill. He has all the answers."
Certainly doesn't sound like someone ready to "move forward". I agree, it will liekly be his last season here. |
Re: Adalius Thomas discusses being deactivated
I heard his sound bites on WEEI and he seemed to talk the company line. He voice did not sound angry about his being inactive and he sounded as if he wanted to move on.
I think he was irritated about answering the dumb questions. I don't know if he has lost it or not? I do remember Vincent Brown playing like a Pro Bowler one year and being out of the NFL the next. It does seem that when LB's start to lose it, it does happen fast. Not saying that that's the case with AD and I hope not. |
