Reiss: TBC (and Alexander?) only re-signed to 1-year deals
According to his twitter. However, BB said in his 5 PM press conference tonight that Alexander was never released.
TBC and Alexander's contracts qualified for the veteran minimum exemption (cap hit < compensation), which meant that they could not be extended. According to Reiss, they were re-signed at normal 1-year deals that raises their cap hits this year but allows them to be extended before they expire. |
