Judging the Case for War

Nice piece of journalism from the MSM looking back at the reasons for war with hindsight...

On Nov. 20, the Tribune began an inquest: We set out to assess the Bush administration's arguments for war in Iraq. We have weighed each of those nine arguments against the findings of subsequent official investigations by the 9/11 Commission, the Senate Intelligence Committee and others. . . . After reassessing the administration's nine arguments for war, we do not see the conspiracy to mislead that many critics allege.

maybe its time to review "journalist" and "columnist"? A columnist writes opinion pieces, like the one you cite.

This would be journalism.

I wouldn't expect you to understand the difference since your understanding of news generally comes from the Rush Limbaughs and Sean Hannitys of the media world.

Its good news that Chalabi is out, considering his ties to Iran. Now tell me again why Bush's neo-con cabal supported this spy?
