New Thread Guidelines - **PLEASE READ BEFORE STARTING NEW TOPIC**
Now I know not everyone is happy with the loss and we're all clearly frustrated, but before a new thread is started, if you're going to criticize something or question it, please do so in a manner where you outline what you feel is wrong, and what you think they should do to fix it. Having 10 miserable threads isn't productive or fun, so try and stick to these guidelines before a new topic is started. Otherwise there won't be anything good to talk about - and next Sunday will seem that much farther away.
Take a look at the number of active threads and you'll notice that there's not much good to talk about right now - let's try and change that today. |

Jeesh, we lost a tough road trip in OT to a 5-0 team. The team and coaches will learn the lessons and move on. You'd think we'd lost Superbowl 42 again instead of one regular season game :o |

I'm not worried... yet. Heck, we've lost games every year that we won a Superbowl. The first one we went 11-5. Stuff happens. learn and move on... Respects, |
Re: New Thread Guidelines
Thank you Ian.
There is a fundamental difference between substantive criticism based on actual facts and observations and unsupported reaction. The former is welcomed, whether directed to Brady, the coaching or anyone else in the organization, as you can discuss criticism with a foundation in fact. The latter is pointless venting which need not be posted for all to read. If you need for insane rants to be heard, feel free to verbalize with family and friends rather than posting. If nobody wants to listen to you at home, take that as a sign strangers do not want to listen to you here either. The pity party whining of "Brady sucks," "Bellichick sucks" unsupported by facts and ignorant of statistics and the big picture does not foster intelligent debate and reflects poorly on Patriots fans as a whole. If you do not believe other fans sites are linking to and reveling in that nonsense, guess again. |
Re: New Thread Guidelines - **PLEASE READ BEFORE STARTING NEW TOPIC**
Just got back in from being outside today - kids are off due to the holiday so I'll be in and out today but wanted to give this a quick bump.
As I said I'm not trying to be difficult - I just don't want to see this place full of doom and gloom for the week. It's only the fifth game of the season, and obviously there's still plenty of football left to be played so I'm sure we'll with plenty of improvement along the way. |
