that was terrific. thanks. we (myself as much as anyone) can get so myopic about one aspect or another of the challenges facing the team that it was really useful to have someone that knowledgeable give a "whole picture" perspective. i think he put it in a nutshell; this is a "once in a generation" (I think that was his term) offense that is going to keep the Pats winning as the D establishes itself.
these last few days before the first game are now becoming agonizing; it's almost a good thing that we had the Seymour saga to distract us, but now I am definitely ready for some football. |

good read
One predcition is partiularly ominous: lots of 31-28 games. That does NOT bode well when we need to win 3 or 4 games in a row to win a Super Bowl. |
