You claimed you were an "anti war president" you LIED

OAKLAND, Maine -- Flags in Maine are flying at half-staff Thursday in honor of a soldier from the state who was killed in combat in Afghanistan.

Pfc. Jordan Brochu is also being honored with a memorial service in celebration of his life.

Brochu died Aug. 31 from wounds suffered in an improvised explosive device attack. Brochu moved to Maine while he was in high school, and his parents live in Oakland outside of Waterville.

When did Obama say he would bring home troops from Afghanistan? When did he claim to be "anti-war?" Did you even watch the campaign Harry?

P.S. I STRONGLY disagree with this administration's foreign policy and both wars we have waged.

That's interesting timing. A co-worker who is a libertarian and voted for Obama told me he has decided this month that "Obama is no better than Bush". He hated Cheney, yet feels that Obama's "crony's" are worse, and is especially upset that he promised to bring home the troops, and there are now more over in the middle east than when Bush left office.

Obama never promised to bring home the troops, and anyone who expected him to is an idiot for not paying attention.

I never felt he would. Quite simply he can't. But my co-worker is extremely anti-war, and he strongly felt that Obama promised several times on the campaign trail to bring the troops home. He follows that stuff pretty closely, so I'm going to assume he is right.

You said Obama promised to bring them home. Then you say that he "felt" Obama promised that. Now you are conceding that you don't even know what Obama said and are too lazy to look into it so you will just defer to your friend. How pathetic.

Afghanistan escalation was a centerpiece of Obama's campaign, one of the many reasons I didn't vote for him. Even you could not have been so ignorant to have not known that. So were you lying?

Obama based his entire campaign on the "eight failed years of the Bush administration", thus implying at every turn that the rush to war (in BOTH Iraq and Afghanistan) was wrong. Obama said it EVERY SINGLE time he opened his mouth last year: "..... these last 8 failed years of this administration ....", implying that ALL problems -- from the wars to the economic meltdown -- were the responsibility of Geo Bush and Republican policies.

Now we find out that not only is Barry's policy NO DIFFERENT than Bush's in Iraq/Afghanistan, but also that the entire economic meltdown is due largely because of idiotic laws passed under the administrations of Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, the UTTERLY FAILED Community Reinvestment Act and the fall-out it produced by opening the door completely for abuse of the mortgage lending policies in the U.S.


Change for the WORSE!!

Get rid of Barney Frank and Chris Dodd in 2010. Or else we are doomed.

Obama ran as an Anti War Candidate and an Anti Gitmo Candidate, Obama won, NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

Obama is also just like Bush on the handling of Illegal Aliens.
