Is Republican Candidate For Gov of NJ above the law???
Looks like this election may heat up a bit, as there is a new and very telling relevation about Christie and his misuse of power... drive down one way streets, run motorcyclists over, and then pull rank..
GOP gov. candidate Chris Christie not issued traffic ticket after accident that injured motorcyclist in 2002 - NJ.com Quote:

So the election comes down to who is the better driver? That's one way to get rid of most Massachusetts politicians.....It's a red herring and as Governor, either guy will have a driver..... NJ has much bigger problems than that and neither of the two candidates are without flaws, major ones at that...... >>>>Democratic Gov. Jon Corzine, meanwhile, starred in 2007 public service announcements showing the consequences of refusing to buckle up after being cited for not wearing a seat belt in his near-fatal car wreck in a trooper-driven SUV. Corzine was ticketed for speeding in 1998 and 2000, yielding a total of six points, but he's had a driver for most of this decade.<<< |

1) He didn't 'hit' the motorcyclist, the cyclist slid into him. From the article.. >>>Christie's vehicle came to a stop, and the motorcycle then "fell on its side and slid into his vehicle," according to the police report.<<< Just trying to be factually correct.. |

Gov Corzine got in an accident on the Garden State Pk when he ordered his State Police driver to drive his SUV at 90+ mph on a 55mph highway. Which is worse making a mistake or ordering a Law Enforcement Officer to break the law and endanger other motorist? |
