I'm hoping this is the beginning of the end for Mr. Goodell.

Goodell has been in way over his head since he started.
The guy has a massive ego, thinks of himself as a sheriff, and applies inconsistent and harsh standards depending on the people involved.

This guy needs to go, he can't get kicked out fast enough.

Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, Goodell. If the meeting happened (and it allegedly did), then he and Vincent are both in trouble.

Looks like this might be another story that ESPN doesn't feel like reporting. It's front page news on SI.com, but nothing on ESPN.

That was what I thought at first also. But, if Roger was the incredible, upstanding citizen he expects everyone else in the league to be; wouldn't he have either A: said "No, Troy, that would be immoral and illegal and I refuse to meet with you" or B: Informed the authorities at once that he was contacted by Troy Vincent.

Seriously, I hope he burns for this. It will be a fitting end to his term.

He could always fine and suspend himself for the season. :rolleyes::cool:
