I don't find the injury funny, but I do find the unfolding of the CNN SI headlines to be. |

I think if Roethlisberger jammed his ring finger, the whole world would know about it. He had to be carted off huh? Any word on the severity of the ankle sprain?

Too bad the injury's not as severe as I wish it were.

They're now saying it's a possible achilles injury. That idiot James Harrison apparently went all out, pushed the lineman back and on top of Roethlisberger's leg which twisted the ankle and caushed the achilles injury. Nobody has talked to the media about it in an official manner, but Roethlisberger was hurt (as he was getting carted off the field) saying that "it feels like a car ran over it".
Source: Ben Roethlisberger of Pittsburgh Steelers injured Achilles tendon, will be re-examined - ESPN Movie day would have been a good idea... |
