Is that anything like: "Meet the new guy. Same as the old guy (but with the press kissing his ass instead of trying to kick it)"???? // |
Re: Blacks in survey say race relations no better with Obama
Well, duh. Racial issues will change when dropout rates change, when education rates change. It's not about thinking a race is superior to another (except for a few), it's about expecting effort and performance to be equal and a (half) black president being elected doesn't change anything.

Hm-m-m.... sounds like having a father around to take care of the kids might be a good idea. Eh? Thought of the day. // |
Re: Blacks in survey say race relations no better with Obama
In the beginning, I was happy to see Obama elected because he was the first 'black' to be president. He would improve our black race. Well, time goes by and there is no improvement. It was what they called 'hope'.

It's called: James Carville and other election strategist gurus doing what they do. Frame a thought, keep repeating with endless anecdotal variations -- or simply re-cycle the ones that seem to resonate with a naive groupie-style crowd -- and VOILA!!! You won yourself an election, dude!!! (Keeping election promises is purely optional, and mostly never fulfilled. In some cases, however, that is a big "Thank You!!! "I'm gonna close Gitmo the day I take office."[paraphrased] -- Barrack Hussein Obama) // |
