Diploma Denied To Student Who Bowed
Will it ever end? The principle sounds like an anal retentive hun.
Diploma Denied To Student Who Bowed, Blew Kiss To Family - Education News Story - WMTW Portland STANDISH, Maine -- Justin Denney's family watched on as he ascended the Cumberland County Civic Center stage during graduation Friday night to accept his diploma, but the superintendent told him to return to his seat. Re: Diploma Denied To Student Who Bowed
Our country is going nuts, this School Official who denied this kid his diploma should be fired today, when kids graduate they always send some type of happy looks and signals to their family and friends.
Our President "Bows"........................................ .:) |
Re: Diploma Denied To Student Who Bowed
The Superintendent should start receiving her unemployment benefit check in 2 weeks time. She better keep her mouth shut and not make any overt celebratory movements when she receives it, or else I hope the postal service yanks it back.

2) The link has a video report in the upper right hand side with partial video of the kid in question going up to get his diploma. Nothing really out of the ordinary in it. But, once again, it is a partial vid. The Superintendent better have some proof on her side. |
Re: Diploma Denied To Student Who Bowed
By the way, an easy solution to all this would be:
1) One week before the ceremony, to have each student and his/her parents sign the behavior form, which should CLEARLY delineate (common sense) the rules. 2) At the ceremony, upon going up on the stage, to hand each kid a blank piece of paper that says "You will receive your official diploma in 1 week's time after review of the video tape of this ceremony. Congratulations and best wishes for a bright fututre". |
Re: Diploma Denied To Student Who Bowed
My guess is that more was going on, if people were tossing beach balls around, and another kid was escorted out by police. Who knows for sure. I'd venture to guess the truth lies somewhere in the middle. It's hard for me to believe a bow, and a kiss to anyone, would be grounds to deny a diploma. If that is all that happened then that's BS, but my guess is that it was a bit more. Just a guess though.
