OT: Replacement home windows
Has anybody ever tried putting champion windows in there house for replacement windows or know someone who has? If so, what did you or they think of them? What do you guys recommend
thoughts thx guys |
Re: OT: Replacement home windows
I used to be in the window business. Champion windows are very low quality. There are many other manufacturers I would consider. Check the Better Business Bureau to see how many issues they have.

Re: OT: Replacement home windows
I had Champion come out to my home for a buy 4 get one free deal and their prices were so out of line with similiar companies. I ended up buying Harvey windows thru a friend and I worked with him to install and saved a huge amount of money for a much more highly rated window.

Re: OT: Replacement home windows
I don't know anything about Champion, but I have a subscription to Consumer Reports and they rated Anderson's 400 series as a good buy. It scored well in most categories including durablity, so I guess I'd suggest getting a second estimate from them as well.
Also, here's a thread I did find regarding Champion windows: http://www.vinyl-replacement-windows...=1&i=336&t=336 Hopefully it's useful. |
