There will be those who advocate for the constitution and believe that this somehow was a good thing, no matter how you cut it vigilante justice is not very good for this country. Somehow his killer will be turned into some type of perverse hero...

I agree wholeheartedly with the bolded text.

I also feel that that unlawfully taking of someone's life is a terrible thing, and to do so in a house of worship is beyond perverted. The person, or persons responsible should be prosecuted and no mercy shown upon them at sentencing.

That said...... I would be a completely lying if did not come clean and say that I believe wholeheartedly that late term abortion is MURDER and that the victim here was a murderer many time over. That in no way justifies or condones this act, as murder under any circumstance is wrong, but it is what it is.

I would say that I feel somewhat similar to the way I felt when learn that a murderer is killed (unjustifiably) in prison. It's terrible, but as Beli Fan puts it so well; a lot of worse things happened today.

The killer should absolutely NOT be regarded as a hero, but the victim should also not be portrayed as some kind of martyr on the alter of human compassion either. This is a crime no doubt, but the sympathy factor will not be there for MANY out there. That may not be right, but that is the truth.

As much as I think this was wrong, I am struggling to find to much sympathy, beyond the personal loss to his family and friends. Thats just the truth. Crucify me if you must, but at least I'm being honest.

Murder is not justified and diminishes the cause of those who oppose abortion. I hear the perp has been arrested and is punished for premediated murder.

Tiller was scum and I will shed no tears for him. If the Christians are correct in their concept of heaven and hell then Mr Tiller is experience far worse than what he inflicted on all the innocent babies he murdered.
