Re: WR's and Dropped Passes
Here's a link if anyone's interested for WR drops from last year NFL Leaders: Pass Dropped (Thru Dec. 28, 2008)
Interesting that this site is the only one I know of that lists drops has Moss @6 were Reiss lists 7 Top WRs drops: Quote:

It's the percentage that tells the story. Welker and Faulk played like men among boys, regardless of who the QB was... |

Wes had 111 opportunities-Amazing! And of those 111 he dropped only FIVE. Given the timing of TFB's injury I'd guess 98% of that 111 were thrown by Matt. Wes is such an extraordinary player-heart and soul. Kevin 2 out of 58,again doing it sans TFB. Nice catch Mo. Very telling stats indeed. |

No way to tell how many opportunities because Graham only listed passes caught and passes dropped. There could be any number of passes thrown Welker's way that were not caught but were not considered drops. So the percentage of drops vs opportunities is actually even lower for Welker (and every other receiver). |
