Good News!! Liza will be released today!!!
 
This deserves a thread all by itself because of all the nonsense that the other thread fell into. Of course everyone else is free to start their own threads about THEIR pet causes, .... and you know they (we) all do. :)


In any case, I want to say: thanks be to God, our Father in Heaven!!



Dear all,

Recent updates on the Lisa Drenicheva's case:

The court hearing has just finshed. Lisa herself was not present at
the hearing, which was rather short. After the lawyer's speech, the
judge announced the decision.

Although the accusations were not withdrawn, the prevetnive punishment
was changed to a fine instead of jail. This means that today Lisa
should be released from jail after having spent there 61 days.

More news will follow.

Liza's out, and is back to her home, with her fiancée and family.


Great news for religious freedom, but there's still more to do. Guess I cannot retire just yet.
