Could Cassel end up with the Eagles?
Nobody knows what will happen with McNabb yet. We all know he hasn't been treated well by their fans and who knows if he wants to stay or not.
They do have 2 first round draft picks this year. If they did trade him they could have 3 first rounders so that could pull the trigger if they wanted. Just throwing this out there. I have no inside info. |

No, McNabb stepped his game up when the coaches lit a fire under his ass. I think a good spot for Cassel would be Tampa Bay or Minnesota.

Philly drafted a QB in the 2nd round last year. And anyway, McNabb is likely staying there.

Had they not made the playoffs, at 9-7 with a miracle getting in......I could see them pulling the trigger. But 2 playoff wins, especially against the Giants, bought him a return. However, he is making noises about wanting an extension
Now comes decision time for Eagles If they decide that they don't want to tie up that much money in an over 30 QB, and the Eagles are notorious for jettisoning over age 30 players...they could make a move. Kevin Kolb didn't get it done this year when given the chance in a limited opportunity but who knows what they'll do. |
