Oil prices still in free-fall -- Drill, baby, drill!!
Ever since Geo W Bush said last summer: "We need to start using our own untapped oil resources instead of sending all our money out of the country for foreign oil", the price of crude has been in free-fall.
Starting out at its all-time high of $149 a barrel last July, after W made his remarks -- and forced the flat-earthers in the Democrat Party to run for cover -- the price of crude has now dropped to BELOW $40 a barrel, to $39.54, climbing back up on the day after falling to $38.60 earlier in the day. Oh, and that "poor data" blamed for the continued free-fall: is Barney Frank still giving advice to banks on how to get out of the mess he caused them ???? And now Baby Hooogo Chavez can't pay his debts, since he nationalized Venezuela's cash cow. :singing: "When will they ever learn.... when will they learn ....??" :singing: Oil prices sink under $40 after poor US data Oil prices plunged below 40 dollars a barrel in New York on Friday, as grim unemployment data stoked concerns about weak energy demand in key consumer the United States, traders said. New York's main futures contract, light sweet crude for delivery in March, fell as low as 38.60 dollars per barrel. It later stood at 39.54, down 1.63 dollars from the close on Thursday. Brent North Sea crude for March dropped 1.23 dollars to 45.23 dollars a barrel in London. The US unemployment rate surged in January to 7.6 percent, the highest since 1992, as 598,000 jobs were cut, the Labor Department reported Friday. Oil prices sink under $40 after poor US data // |

more evidence that Fraug doesn't have a clue what he's talking about when it comes to energy, and the energy crisis that is occuring...
if there was significant oil pools off our shores, we'd have explored it decades ago... there isn't... stick to topics you know at least a little bit about... you know, like mind control, bilking eastern european families from their finances, and hell fire & damnation prophecies.... |

Great news Foggy!
Now if US unemployment can rise to 10% maybe we can get the price of oil under $20 per barrel! Clown. |

Re: Oil prices still in free-fall -- Drill, baby, drill!!
Frog said he attended or graduated Dartmouth. Its hard to believe because the standards to get in are high and what Frog throws out is SO low. Frog the price of oil is dropping because the worlds economies are pulling back and not produceing the goods they once did. Theres no demand, poeple don't have the money to buy so companies aren't manufacturing. If they aren't manufacturing they don't need the oil. Its simple supply and demand. Theres not as much demand for oil so the price is falling got it..... Mr. Ivy leauge. O r d o i h a v e t o s p e l l i t o u t m o r e s l o w l y ?
