Harrison on future
Here's part of what he had to say in the Globe article, I got a kick out of the last line:
"Right now, I'm doing a lot better and I can't honestly say if I'm going to play or not right now. I'm up in the air. Right now, I'm focusing on being able to run up and down the bases with my son, so once that's established then I'll decide if I want to play or not." The 36-year-old safety, whose contract with the Patriots ended after the 2008 season, said that when he does make a decision it will be final. "There are a lot of things that go on with a guy when he's deciding his future in football. You realize that once you say, 'I'm done.' I'm done," said Harrison. "I don't want the circus. I don't want the back-and-forth circus [of], 'Well, do I want to play? Okay, I'm going to retire; I'm not going to retire.' I don't want the Brett Favre situation. Re: Harrison on future
Rodney's got the right approach- make a well-thought out decision and stick to it. But maybe he'd come out of retirement for BB, like Junior did :)
"I don't want a Brett Favre situation" LOL you go Rodney:D |
