The Wild Card is what will Cassel get us - High First? And then what will Billerio do with that pick. |
Re: Reiss: Patriots pick 23rd in first round
23rd is a crappy position for a team that didn't make the playoffs, but when you consider that we went 11-5, you realize that it could have been worse. We should be picking 19th. Only 4 spots back from where we should be, so it's not the end of the world.

23rd isn't bad. It could be worse.
#23 picks in 2008 the Steelers got Mendenahall in 2007 the Chiefs got Dwayne Bowe in 2006 the Bucs got Davin Joseph in 2005 the Raiders got Fabian Washington in 2004 the Seahwaks got Marcus Tubbs Ok not exactly the most memorable picks... but it depends on how good a team's scouting department is too. There are plenty of strong late 1st picks and the Pats usually draft well in the 1st round regardless. |

Was Ty Law the 23rd pick?

No worries didn't we get someone's second for trading down last year, and we will most likely get another first for Cassel. All is Good in Pats land

So what exactly is the thinking behind rotating the picks? That doesn't seem to make much sense.
