With a mere 3 weeks remaining, these games are now just as important as our own. With the two most significant for us being of course...

Bills @ Jets
49ers @ Dolphins

Bills are coming off an ugly two game losing streak in which they've only been able to put up a combined 6 offensive points. The suddenly rejuvenated 49ers, on the other hand are on a 2 game winning streak, with both wings coming against AFC East teams.

Let's root for a 49ers AFC East hat trick and for the Bills to wake up.

Either the Jets or Dolphins must lose at least 1 of their next 2 games for us to have a shot at winning the division. Time to root as hard for the 49ers and Bills as you will the Pats in about 3 hours! In Singletary I trust, in the Bills...ehem, in Mangini's incompetence I trust.

All of New England is getting the Jets game on CBS and Miami on FOX. :rocker:

I agree. At least the early game thread should be allowed to stay on the main Patsfans.com board.

Agree 100%. I know there's an "NFL Football Forum" for a reason, but the traffic is considerably less, and there are two HUGE early games, both of which are televised in the New England area. Not a big deal by any stretch, but still...

As an aside, is anyone else having problems with CBS HD? The channel freezes sporadically for a good 10 seconds before coming back. Happens every 5 minutes or so. Every other HD channel is working fine, and the SD CBS channel is working fine as well. Is it just my cable, or is anyone else experiencing this?

It's just a needless thing to do when there's no massive information flux that's going to be happening between 1 and 4 that would demand 20-30 threads on the main board. When they move these threads off the main forum, it means that I have to open up 2 tabs for Patsfans.com instead of one. I don't imagine that I'm the only one who does that, so it's got to slow down the system.

Agreed, this will be the most active topic for the next 3 hours and one thread isn't going to slow down the main forum for those 3 hours.
