I think the Pats are almost always conservative with injuries and healing time. Sometimes it frustrates me, but I think it's the proper approach.

I'd just assume that he not play if he is still hurt
and wouldn't be as effective, anyways.
Let him heal.

If he's inactive, at least him being out there loosening up is a good sign for the near future. We're not facing any fierce ground attacks anytime soon so him resting up a couple more weeks wouldn't be terrible.
