Moss vs. Asomugha 1 on 1?
I no the games not for a couple weeks but I'am excited bout this match-up, especially if it's going to be 1 on 1 with no saftey help. I wonder if there going the usual route with Nhamdi him and the WR with no saftey help over the top. I know Nhamdi's the best CB in the NFL but ill take Moss in single coverage over anybody. Whats your guys take ?

Well, in that situations we could either take Moss vs. Nnamdi OR the other 10 Patriots vs. the other 10 Raiders. So yeah, we'll be staying away from Nnamdi.

Re: Moss vs. Asomugha 1 on 1?
Cassel is the QB and we know he isn't very effective using Moss so I say Asomugha wins. Otherwise, Mo$$ would win.

It seems to me that those guys(Cassel and Moss) are just starting to jell. |
Re: Moss vs. Asomugha 1 on 1?
There is a misconception about Asomugha - that his talent is why no one ever throws at him. He is a great player. But that is not the reason people stay away from him completely.
They stay away from him because of the complete lack of talent of the other 10 he plays with. He's the only guy on that team who can hurt you so why give him a chance when you can move the ball at will without challenging him. Teams go into the Raider game fully willing to exclude their top pass catching threat from the game plan because they know despite it the Raiders still give up 355 yards a game, 160 of it on the ground at a rate of 4.7 yards per carry. |

If Asomugha does cover Moss one on one, Moss will have a big game. He's too good to stop one on one, even when you are the best corner in the league. The offensive line has been blocking real well lately as well, so Moss should get a pretty good amount of time to get open. |
Re: Moss vs. Asomugha 1 on 1?
I would take Moss against any current corner in the league. With the rules these days the WR has a major advantage. It might be a closer matchup with Cassel, but had Brady been in those 2 would have a field day with Moss in single coverage.
